Hi, I am wanting to pour VAC 50 directly over a 3D printed part made from PLA. Does anyone know how hot VAC 50 can get during its exothermic reaction?

It depends on the amount being poured ... the larger the mass ... the more heat it will create. 200 F should be a max when pouring less than 3-4 lbs. Over 5 lbs could exceed that temp.

Thanks Mike. It should be less than 3 pounds and the softening temperature of the PLA is around 300F I think.

You should be fine with PLA. Please make sure to mold release though!
