I’ve been working with alumite silicone rubber mold for a while now. I went to make a mold of something today and after 7 hours, it still hasn’t cured. It’s a bit sticky and jello like. I mixed both containers together so it’s not a ratio problem. What would cause this and is there a way to make it cure? Thanks!

.....the cause is your about 20 hours ahead of yourself......the cure is to be patient. Your location (weather related) could also be a factor....stick your mold out side if your in a warm/humid area, that tends to speed the curing process up some.

Thanks! I’m going to wait it out, and put it in the window to have the sun give a little help.

.....If you live in the Northern Hemisphere (where its Summer) you would have better results with it being outside in the higher heat and humidity verses the cooler confines of your home....even on the window sill.
