I have been trying to figure out which hard mold material to use for making a 2 part fishing jig injection mold. The material needs to produce fine details and be pourable and harden with out vacuum. The final mold needs to withstand 400 degrees F during hot plastic injection. Can anyone suggest which product meets this?

The silicone molds can handle up to 395 degrees so any of them should work fine but I'd use one the High Strength series, HS-1 is a fairly stiff material so it might work for what you need. You can get some instruction info on the page for making fishing lures: www.makelure.com/ and come back here if you have any problems.

If the mold itself needs to be hard, you could try the Replicator series. I use Replicator 400 and it picks up beautiful detailing but I don't know the heat limit it can take so you'd have to call one of the techs for that.
