Hey everyone! Okay so I bought this box in Kalamazoo at Michael's on Westnedge only 4 days ago and this isn't my first rodeo- I've worked with this amazing medium for many years and normally, I love it. I did notice this was the last box on the shelf, brought it home and immediately noticed that no matter how much hardener I poured in, no matter how long I stirred, there was ZERO pink hue. So okay, I thought, it's probably just the dye, I know I need to stir a good 3min. x's 2... nope this product is worthless. The SKU#: 6 16932 07835 4
Was there a recall on this at some point? Is it just old and Michael's stuck it on the shelf anyway bc they were out? Very disappointed and hoping someone from the company (since they're local) could tell me something. As everyone knows, this stuff is way too expensive not to perform and it's not available everywhere. I live over an hour away which is why I haven't taken it back to the store.

Not to be a pessimist.... ....This is the exact reason that I buy from Alumilite direct...sure it may cost a few dollars more than retail but, by the time you have made the purchase from a brick and mortar store it has... Sat in Alumilites warehouse...I doubt for very long, but this is where its journey begins. Transported to the big box retailers warehouse...could take days or weeks depending on the warehouses location and shipping schedules. Sat in the big box retailers warehouse for who knows how long. Shipped to big box retail store...again days or weeks depending on shipping schedules Sits in big box retail stores back room until the shelf needs restocking...could be days or months. Sits on the shelf to be purchased...could be days, weeks or months.

In answer to your question, no there was not a recall. I have not had any other similar complaints, so I am at a loss Shari for exactly what happened... I do know we will take care of it. My other question did you use the whole container, is there anything left that we could issue a call tag for to look at the product and determine possibly what went wrong?
