Hi, I have not used my Amazing Casting resin for years, and I tried to use it today. It is not curing as quickly or getting hot like it used to. Is there a shelf life on this?

It's OK. Just takes a little longer to cure. Actually makes it easier to have a few more minutes:)

Typically the Amazing Casting Resin is pretty stable even over long periods of time. What typically has a bigger effect on it is temperature. The colder the material, the longer the pot life and vice versa.
Glad it is still good! thx, Mike

Thanks Mike. Along those same lines, I am also using the Yellow Amazing Mold Putty. It didn't harden up like it used to and seems to be breaking down/getting softer with each consecutive use.
I am doing give-a-ways for a kids charity event so I am trying to do this on the cheep:)

The Amazing Mold Putty will get slower over time but should still cure and once fully cured (again ... will take longer) ... the physical properties should be very similar. Giving the mold a little heat to help it fully cure is a good idea if it is over a year or two old.
