No you didn't waste your money - give them a call at (269) 488-4000 and let them know what happened and they'll get you a couple new bottles right away. Sometimes the boxes have sat on the shelf for a long time if you buy from a store like Michaels or Hobby Lobby, sometimes even Amazon has the same problem. For me, it takes just three days to get something in as they'll try to ship it out the same day you call them.

Question I poured a mold tonight that I purchased thru Hobby Lobby last month. I measured in the rubber and stirred the catalyst as it seemed too thick to shake. I poured the catalyst and notices it was clear in color. While Stirring the 2 parts I noticed the pink had settled back to the bottom of the bottle. My question is have I wasted a box of molding mixture? Or what am I looking at?

There have been some noted issues with the catalyst......give Alumilite a call at (269) 488-4000 and describe what has happened.

I just bought 2 days ago amazing mold rubber from Hobby lobby the pink one and the pink catalyst has separated. I have shaken it for about 10 mins and gotten some of it to mix but there is still a oval piece floating in the center. Is it bad? Does that mean it’s has crystalized.

If it crystalized like that I'm thinking it might not be usable, give Alumilite a call at (269) 488-4000 and they should send you another catalyst.

so I poured my mold 24 hrs ago and its still hasn't hardened, I used all the catalyst and mix for one pour so measurement wasn't off, will it eventually harden, or is it scrap

Sorry for the late reply, for some reason my notifications wasn't working. I haven't heard of it not curing - curing too fast now THAT I've dealt with but not curing? That's a new one on me. Which mold material did you use?

I'm thinking if it's like that then it should be fine but it might just take longer to cure before demolding.

First time buying & using this product (rubber molding) unfortunately the crystalline was hard and chunky. I use your other products and just love them. Can you help me with this? I have another question with this rubber mold material. Once I'm done with the mold is it reusable? Meaning can I heat the rubber mold up & repour for a different object?
Thank you in advance!

I have been using Amazing mold rubber for over two years with 40+ successful pours until lately... With the second to last mold I poured (two boxes total) I noticed the rubber was softer and stickier (catalyst also was not as pink as usual. With last pour (again two boxes) rubber never cured and there was zero colorant in catalyst. Long story short, hours and money lost due to poor QC practices on Alumilites part or change to "recipe" without telling consumer. Not a happy camper.
