Would like to pass something along; Living in a high humidity area I was having a few problems with storing casting resins so they will last their shelf life. Pouring from the one gallon bottle was a chore even when cleaned, part B seemed to crystallize on the cap and bottle threads. Removing the cap after the bottle was stored for a week or so became a battle using channel lock pliers to break the cap loose and then twist it off. I found that using two 4 inch square pieces of plastic bag between the cap and the bottle threads did the trick. Much less crystallizing and the cap is easy to remove even after being stored over a week between uses. Did the plastic have to be replaced? Yes and almost every time I removed the cap a few times. Also, keeping the product in the boxes they were shipped in and closing the top, (out of the box and back in right after pouring) has allowed all of the products to still be good months after their listed shelf life and producing quality castings. I have no crystallizing in either the Flex 60 or 80 products that were first opened in Jan. 2015.

Hi Carol; I have a question on 90 shore Flex system; does Alumilite have such a product available? Attached are pictures of a cam chain slipper using Flex 80, they come out well and the part is usable, but because it is being hit by a cam chain, I would like a stiffer material. Attachments:

Bill,
No I am sorry we do not have a Flex 90, 80 is the hardest durometer in the Flexible Urethane's.
Regards,
Carol
