I bought some Mold Maker at Hobby Lobby. Mixed 4 ounces with 2 scoops per directions. It never set up. Waited 48 hours and all I had was a sticky mess. Called Alumilite and they said probably out dated stock so they sent me a batch for free. Mixed it per directions and got the same results. It never set. What could I be doing wrong?

I don't know if that's a platinum catalyzed silicone, but they can have the cure inhibited by trace amounts of sulphur and some other things. Sulphur is hiding in some odd places, like rubber bands. If you handle your rubber band ball collection and then handle the mixing vessel that could wreck a batch. What shape are you trying to cast, and what's it made of?
If you got the same result twice, even with new material, I'd look into cure-inhibiting tools or vessel, or an incomplete mix, or a defect in the measuring process (teaspoons instead of ounces or something).
Maybe try a tiny batch with different container and tools, and see if it cures in a different receptacle and see if a drop of it cures on what you're trying to cast.
