Should Alumilite High Strength 2 be put in a vacuum chamber after it is mixed to eliminate bubbles before making the mold?

A vacuum chamber gives the most consistent results.

It is highly recommended although it is not required. You can make good molds that will work perfectly without it however as temaak stated, vacuum will give you the most consistent results. Make sure your mix container contains 3 times the liquid volume as it will expand/rise under vacuum. You know you've removed most of the air, introduced when mixing, when the material rises and collapses under full vacuum. You may have to "burp" the chamber ... allow air back in ... to prevent it from expanding over the top of the container. Once it collapses under full vacuum and simply bubbles a small height over the actual liquid volume, you are ready to remove from the chamber and pour.
