I used some Quicket Rubber and mixed in too little hardener. I couldn't find my scale and thought I could eyeball it (stupid, I know) and now it won't properly cure. I've left it for a couple of weeks hoping it harden just a little to no avail, and so I haven't removed the parts from the rubber yet. What I need to know is how I can clean the rubber off the resin masters. Thanks, Brian

We've all done the eyeball trick, I myself do a similar move of "weighing" Plat with my left hand before I put it on the scale then will eyeball adding the extra or removing the excess grams to get it where I want it while it's on the scale. But that's only the Plat as it's a little more forgiving as a 1:1 ratio.
You have two options for clean up,
1) go ahead and scrap the mold by removing the parts and starting over. To clean up the parts, you can use Lysol wipes (I've also used Lysol multi surface cleaner when the wipes got scarce - be sure to wash in soapy water after) to clean off any residue left.
or 2) you can try to salvage the mold and see if it can be usable by trying to "soak in" a little extra hardener but that would probably use more hardener than you should use and then the base wouldn't have any left and you'd have to toss that. I haven't tried this myself so I don't really recommend it as I'm not sure how it would work out.
I've been known to just clean up and start over on things like this - you should have seen the mess I had when I found out the hard way that Plat does NOT like the flex. I had to scrap an entire mold of one of my most sold designs, do major cleaning on it, and pour a new one (I did wait until the next day to be sure it was completely clean and dry).
