If I want my castings to be harder, more like hard plastic. Would I use more of part A or more of part B. Does it make a difference?

Yes, it will make a difference and one that you do not want to have. The mix ratios have to be as explained numerous times in the forums. Too much of either part "A" or "B" will cause the resin to not properly cure leaving it soft and rubbery like in density. The thicker the pour , the denser/harder the cast piece will be assuming that the proper mixing procedures have been fallowed.
