Hi I'm trying some small test pours of Amazing Clear Cast to get the hang of using it, and I'm having trouble with bubbles forming. I'm pretty much following this video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=S7vVP28D9SwI'm mixing slowly by hand for about 5 mins, keeping the stir stick in contact with the bottom of the container. Almost as soon as I start mixing, alot of tiny bubbles start forming, and they just don't seem to go away. By the time I stop mixing there are so many bubbles the mix looks almost milky white. I'm using 1:1 ratio by volume of A to B side. I'm using small plastic containers for mixing, and the ambient temperature is about 70F. This is happened twice now. I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Have you tried the light misting of alcohol? The alcohol is supposed to pop the bubbles so it should help, let us know if it does or doesn't.

I tried the alcohol, and it helps a little for bubbles close to the surface, but the ones deeper in the pour don't go away.
I think I did find a solution though: warming up the resin (both the A and B bottles) in hot water, and mixing really slowly (about a quarter of the speed of the demo video I linked to above) really seem to have helped prevent bubbles from forming. Also, I think it helps to mix in the same direction for awhile, and change directions slowly. i.e. stir clockwise for a few minutes, then slowly stop and stir counter-clockwise. I found if I mixed too fast, or switched directions too quickly more bubbles would form.

Sounds like a good plan and that helped. I forgot all about the warming trick as I haven't had to use it with the new Amazing Clear Cast Plus...
