Total newbie here, looked everywhere for answers but failing to find them. I want to create a third brake light with leds inside of black resin. Problem Im having is the size of the project 12" round 1-1/2" thick with undercuts on the insides for the leds, only way I can make a positive is out of plywood. "The question " is there a product I can use to seal the plywood tops, edges and undercuts that will not distort the positive to make Im assuming a two part silicone mold? Also what silicone mix should I use to make the mold easier to remove from the undercuts. Thanks for any help

Use a wood sealer, like what you would use on a wood patio deck. If you have severe undercuts , look at using either HS-2 or HS-3 ....be sure and use a mold release between the wood and RTV silicone.
