Hello all,
I'm working on a sculture project and I'm looking for some light-weight resin (potentially mold-making material?). The resin will be stand-alone (for display not for mold-casting). I worked with silicone before but the softness is a problem. So I'm trying to look for resin which is not that hard and heavy when cured. Trying to work on a large scale Jenga, so the goal is not to make people hurt when the things falls. Does someone have some ideas? Thanks!!!!!

Shiji0325, We have resins that are filled to make them much lighter when cured for larger pieces, UL-400, www.alumilite.com/store/p/969-Ultra-lite-400.aspx. It makes pieces substantially lighter I do think this may be worth looking into for your application. However, it is rigid resin so it is hard but easy to handle as it is much lighter then the other resins and depending on the size of your piece probably much lighter then silicone. Happy New Year. Regards, Carol
