which product would be best suited for casting with liquid lead? I saw a video of a guy doing this but not sure which product he was using.

Samuel, I use mold putty 15 to cast lead for making Marlin lure. I've been using the same mold for more than 30 heads and still holding shape with no tear. Hope this help.

The Putty is platinum cure silicone and takes the heat pretty well. The other platinum cure silicone we have is the Plat 55 that takes a bit higher heat (recommend to degas this silicone) and the platinum's hold up for a longer period of time then the tin cure silicone's. Eventually even an exothermic resin will take it's toll on the silicone.
