Many thanks in advance for your help. First; I've heard I can make alcohol inks with your dye and 91% rubbing alcohol. Is this true? Second; Can I use the Amazing Clear Cast to cover my stainless steel bar cart (I intend to add sparkly/shiny things to it; similar to the current tumbler craze)? I'd like to have an approx. 1/8" coat.

Hi Lynn,
We have not tried it ourselves, but have been told that using our dyes with alcohol will work. Yes, you can use ACC to coat your bar cart, that should work great. I recommend wiping the surface down with alcohol prior to coating. If you can scuff it up with some steel wool or sand paper, then solvent wipe it would be even better. Good luck, Don

Yes and yes. The alcohol inks can be made with our dye and add rubbing alcohol. Yes you can use the Amazing Clear Cast to cover your steel cart, don't sit hot items on it for any length of time it could leave an indention or ring.

No it can not Candleman, there are special colorants for wax applications.
