I am doing a one off 1:25 car build and I plan on using the less expensive Amazing Mold Rubber for a mold that will more than likely be used only once. I might use a 1/3rd to maybe half of the container at most....my question is can I either mix it with or use it in conjunction with the HS 3 that I already have...i.e a multi part or multilayer mold where the two mold rubbers would be contact with each other but not initially mixed together. Is the catalyst the same with both Amazing Mold Rubber and HS 3?
I also only use Price - Driscoll Ultra II mold release if that makes any difference.

Yes, you can mix the two together or separate. They are brother/sister products ... same family of tin base silicone and the raw materials are of the same family as well. The differences are in base ... which makes the High Strength 3 more flexible and the catalyst ... which makes the Amazing Mold Rubber cure much faster.
I'd highly recommend a layer of Vaseline in combination with the Ultra II as the tear strength and ability to bond to itself is EXTREMELY high with the these rubbers and will often adhere right through the mold release. Vaseline is a great barrier to ensure it doesn't bond.
