I belong to crafting groups that use Amazing Casting resin in silicone molds. Sometimes a newbie will not mix the resin properly and it does not cure and is very difficult to get out of the silicone mold. My question is could you mix a good batch of resin and pour over the bad batch, would it bind to the bad resin so you could pull everything out, thereby saving your expensive silicone mold? Thanks

"You should be able to do so" is what I would like to say but I have to be sure of the process that was done before I can be sure it will work for any given situation. If all directions were followed and everything was done like it should be, then most likely yes it will. Though you shouldn't have any trouble getting resin out of a silicone mold as nothing should stick to silicone but you can also clean up the Amazing Casting residue with Lysol wipes - it's what I usually use after I've scraped out what I could. I've also been known to turn Plat 25 molds inside out to get into tiny cracks and crevasses.
