Long time hobby woodworker but new to use of epoxy. I know sealing wood for an epoxy inlay is important. I have seen Mod Podge suggested several times. I also see Amazing Sealer as an Alumite sealer product. Can you clarify a preference and why? Thanks.
Using Alumite Clear Cast for the inlay filler to about 1/4 inch depth.
It's a new product that is supposed to work just like the Mod Podge but formulated to work best with Alumilite products. I personally haven't used it yet so I can't say if it works better or not, though normally I prefer to use products that are formulated to work together when I can.
Can we have some of our woodworkers who have used the Sealer to chime in with some extra help?
