Hello!
I am completely new to the forum and new to this. I have researched techniques, processes, and materials but I am at the point where I'm finding it difficult to find anything for my specific application so I am looking for some more seasoned advice.
I am wanting to make a lawn game. I have wooden prototypes for the game but I would like to make it out of something that would allow the game to be played on hard surfaces, not just grass. I was thinking of a hard rubber or polymer of some kind.
The play pieces are currently made of an 8" wooden dowel with two 2" square dice like pieces glued to each end. Looks kind of like a blocky bone. I'd like to make these out of something, I'm just not sure what would be good. The wood chips too easily when thrown on pavement, works great on grass or sand but that is it.
I hope this makes sense. Thank you all for taking the time to read and consider!

I would contact Alumilite either thru e-mail or give them a call at (269) 488-4000 and explain to them what you are wanting to accomplish like you did in your post. Off the top of my head, I can't think of which rubber would work best for your application, but I'm sure someone there at Alumilite has an answer.
