I recently made several pieces with G-3 resin. All is good except I find one or two places where a pinhead sized spot is wet. I wipe it off and a few minutes later it is back. Is there a way to cure the one spot? can I just put a bit of A or B on it (I assume one of them is a hardener)? i have read to sprinkle baby powder on it but not sure that is a correct fix.

Question: what is G-3 resin? I haven't seen that name on Alumilite's products.

Okay that clears that up for me. I wouldn't use baby powder as I don't think it does anything for it. To harden a slow curing spot, normally you just add "heat". A few minutes with a hair dryer usually is good enough to speed up a cure. If the pin holes are "refilling" then that may be a different thing. I usually fix pin holes with drips of additional RC-3 or even drips of Clear - whichever I happen to be using at the moment. I've also dripped in a little superglue when I wasn't casting with resin and needed it to be fixed when I wasn't casting. I wouldn't think that adding more of one side or the other would be helpful but I've never tried it as I just went straight for the hair dryer or additional drips or superglue (in a pinch). Try these and let us know how it goes.
