Does anyone know if Amazing Mold Maker or Plat 25 will bond/adhere to Mold 15 or Amazing Mold Putty? I need to cast a mold for a piece that would greatly benefit from the viscosity of the putty to "suspend" the master off the bottom of my mold box. Or would any of the mold putty's adhere to any of the "pourable" molding materials, for that matter? Flexibility/Shore Hardness is not necessarily a top priority for this piece.
Thank you for your time, Brian

Silicone will bond to silicone. That being said, different densities will bond (Plat 25 and HS-3) at first but after time will separate. Amazing Mold Maker is similar in density to HS-3 so it should do the same as trying to bond Plat and HS-3.
So I would use one of the putty types to suspend the master then use the liquid mold material to pour around it, being sure to cover the top completely. Then once the liquid mold material is cured, I'd use the fact that the putty type might let go of the liquid type eventually to my advantage. I would then work the putty type loose from the liquid type and use the hole left behind as my pour area. If you're worried about it not releasing, then put a thin layer of release agent on the putty type before pouring the liquid.
