I have several dyes that are hardening. it looks like it is mostly the florescent colors that I have. Pink, yellow, and orange. there seems to be a somewhat hard blob that has formed in the 1 oz. bottle. the blob has the consistency of frozen peanut butter. even after you try to work it loose for a while (10 min) it will soften a little but not dissolve. I'm afraid the plastic bottle is going to break while I try to work the blob because the bottle starts to get warm from me rolling and pressing it so much. They were all unopened and I just pulled from the bags as I was going to use them today. Is there any thing I can do? I know they were only $6 each but I would like to have used them before they went bad. do they normally last less than a year or year and a half? I'm pretty sure I ordered them last year. One last piece of information is that when I twisted off the flat caps to put on the squeeze twist tip caps the little white bottle seal came of in the flat cap on all the colors. almost like the adhesive on the white seal didn't stick to the bottle.

Give Alumilite a call and let them know you had a problem with the dyes, I'd suggest replacing the colors you need and tossing the ones you have. I don't know of any way to fix them once they get to that stage so better to replace them.
