I just ordered some Porcelain powder to add weight to some resin casting I’m preparing to do (flight bases for some models). How much weight would this powder add to the RC3 resin if mixed at 50% and 100% by volume? Have been googling the question in every wording I can think of but haven’t found any answers so far.

....Had to do some research in the Alumilite reference material that I have since I have never used this product....here's my conclusion.
The additional weight would be negligible since the Porcelain Powder is a dry filler used to achieve cold cast porcelain. To quote Alumilite "....it gives the user the look, feel and texture of a porcelain casting". So lets say, for the sake of discussion, that you added 16 oz. to your casting resin. The weight would be the casting resin weight + 16 oz. I don't know how critical % by volume would be as far as using the powder for added weight......I would think that you could pour a rather high % by volume before it would have any effect, if any effect at all, on the resin.

Oh, that’s rather depressing then. The reason I bought it was simply to add weight, since the first purpose of the product listed in the description is using it to add weight. I guess I could have been clearer in my question as what I’m essentially trying to figure out is how much heavier any specific volume of the powder is vs the same volume of cured R3 resin.
