I’m pouring ten molds at a time Using alumilite white, the problem is that after filling each mold I have to add a metal stem that needs to be precisely centered in the pour hole, which takes a few seconds. By the time I get past six or seven molds it’s set up to thick to place the stem in the last couple molds! Is there a way to double or even triple the working time before it sets up? Please forgive me if this has been already covered in this forum...

The short answer is no, the cure time cannot be extended to double or triple the average cure time as given....however there is a workable solution. Sounds like your dealing with a gang mold (multiple cast) which would work for you if all you where doing is simply pouring, but with you having to place the metal stems, time doesn't afford you the ability to make ten pours. If your getting 5 good pours , then you should only be pouring 5 pours.......perhaps split your mold and have a helper do the other 5 if that's possible.

Brian's right, you have to lower the number of pours per mixing or have a helper. Another thing you can try is lowering the temperature of the molds as the warmer a mold is the faster it helps cure the resin poured in it. Another idea is to have the stem in all the mold cavities before pouring, you might need to make something that fits over the mold to hold them exactly in place while you pour. A metal, wood, or even 3D printed frame would work.

I use laser cut jigs to center and hold the stems in place, but the pour hole in these molds is so small that I can’t pour with the stem jig in the way. Is there a thing that mixes the two parts together as you are pouring? Like those epoxy anchor bolt guns with the long “turbulator mixer” nozzles? Maybe that way I could just do a continuous pour//insert/alignment without the batch hardening up too soon...

The only thing I can suggest is small, long funnels on the pour holes to help you get it in the cavities. Or maybe a trough type funnel with the ends in each cavity and you pour it into the trough where it goes down each funnel side to all the cavities at once?
