Hi all, I’ve been using flex-it 10 foam poured into a dragon skin mold without issue and get a great result. We are trying to get the weight of our model down by using 4 but with it, we have been getting a very uneven bumpy finish to the surface. We’ve tried mixing more/less, are sure the ratio is correct, and the temperature/humidity is not an issue. Any thoughts?

I haven't used the Flex foam yet but in the instructions it says to try this: "To produce the best skin possible, mix long into the open time and pour as late as possible to fill the entire cavity without trapping voids" and the open time is 45 seconds. It also says that you can cover the mold open area with something flat (leaving a breathing hole) if you are going to “pack the foam" - I would assume this will give you a flatter surface. Try that and please let us know how it comes out.
