I am looking at getting started casting and am trying to decide what to use. I live in TX and in the summer it gets 95+ degrees in my garage which is where I have to work. What would be yalls best estimate as to the working time of alumilite clear slow before I have to get it in pressure pot?

Any temp over 70 will speed up curing on all of the resins. I'd guesstimate that it would cut the curing time in half at that temperature. To get it back down to the longer working time you'll need, you're going to need to chill it in some way. A small refrigerator or even a cooler will help - be sure to keep the surfaces covered as you don't want to get resin on them. And if there is any way to cool down your working area (even if it's just the 2 foot area you stand in) then that will help too.

I live in OK. Last summer I was getting 5-6 min. working time at those temps with clear slow. It's doable, just make sure you've got everything ready. Cast in the morning when you can.
