I understand this is not the best place to ask for information about the Alumilite company but I'm not getting any response from the company from email and phone.
I placed an order on March 26, which had a pending status. Nothing changed on Friday the 27th. I tried to logon on Monday, March 30th. The Alumilite website had a new format, (appears a software update was performed over the weekend) and it required I change my password.
After logging on, I attempted to view my order. The software says I don't have an order.
I called the companies 800 line and was transferred to 'someone who could answer my question'. The transfer ended up being an unnamed voice mail box. I left a message and call back number. I have not received a response.
I sent an email to the info@alumilite.com mail address and have not received a response.
The new website does not have a Covid 19 message so I don't know if they are closed due to the virus.
I apologize for using this forum but I'd like to find out if they are working, not working, what happened to my order? Do I need to place a new one or give up?

....Let me see what I can work from this angle....Notoes, if you have Carols phone# (not at work..cell phone???) could you give her a call as I don't have that # available and see if she can help here. I don't know what Michigan's status is as far as stay at home orders,lock down, etc etc. or whether or not Alumilite has been deemed an essential business and how many employees are working from home or are actually on site working. As far as your order and apparent software update, I will e-mail the person who heads up I.T and see what I can come up with.
Please be patient (we are ALL in this mess together) as soon as I find out anything , I will post it here...you did the right thing by using the forum,hopefully we can be of some help to your situation. stay well

I usually use the 800 number on the site myself so that's the only number I have. And like Brian said, you did right by going to the forum when you couldn't get an answer - it's what we're here for.
As far as I know, they're still up and running according to an email I received before but it is taking a little longer to get things done due to Covid-19. I've noticed a longer wait time myself but it's understandable considering the situation - I've got an Amazon order that has a delivery date of April 30th and I had that order in around early March and it has the printer ink I need for printing my orders for my Etsy shop. For your Alumilite order, I'd say add a week to give them enough time to get it out and keep checking the order status as most new website formatting will always have a few kinks that need to work out. I myself had to do that as my last order didn't show up right away either (took a couple days) and that was before the new formatting was in place.
Yes, we're a resilient people and we will get through it. And if nothing else, remember we are not alone. Stay safe and well.

They shipped an order to me on the 1st so they're open.
I bet they're having the upgrade blues. They also lost all my previous orders, but I had none pending. Obviously the database conversion didn't go well. They never do.
