Hello Forum, I want to make a custom emblem for my car. I have an existing emblem that I will make a mold from. Next, I'll cast a part and modify this part to be the part I want and I'll make a new mold from this part and will be ready to make the final product.
1. Does Alumilite make a product that can create a mold so a part can be cast with pewter?
2. Can a part made from Replicator 400 or 532 be chrome plated?
I plan to use the plat 55 to make the molds and RC3 to make the transition parts (I already have this product)

1. The High Strength series is a very easy to use and not picky about what it cures against when making the mold but for casting in pewter, I think either that or the Plat would be fine.
2. Now this I do not know even though I've been working with it a lot lately. From what I do know, I don't see why it can't but I would prime it first like you do for RC-3.
I hope this helps and let us know how things go.
