Hi all,
I'm pretty new to all this so go easy on me haha!
Basically I've designed a product i want to mould and cast, and I want it to be made out of the same material that rubber bar runners are made from. I like the density of that material matched with its level of flexibility, whilst maintaining a lot of firmness. I have looked online and further into it, however so far it seems somewhat vague as to what theyre really made of.
Most searches come up with either rubber, flexible pvc, or pvc silicone. Yet searching further into these materials seems to provide some pretty undirected and vague results. All I want to know is what i should use to make these materials, or what recommendations people might have to recreate something that is dense, firm, and flexible.
Thank you Kinno

I not quite sure what a bar runner is....I think it is the rectangle shaped mat that the bottles sit on behind the bar that the bar tender has access to? , so I can only guess at how dense it is.....I've poured HS-2 (High Strength 2) RTV Silicone Rubber which is denser than HS-3.....HS-1 is even denser than HS-2. If I am correct on my first statement, then use HS-2
