I am casting my own pen blanks with Alumilite clear cast. This is my first time casting! I followed the instructions on mix 1 to 1 and mixing part A and B. I poured into my molds and put in the pressure pot under 45PSI for 2 hours and then let sit for 22 hours. Once I removed the blanks for the mold I noticed that where were still soft and rubbery. I cut one of the blanks and drilled it out and sure enough it was super soft and did not harden. Can someone explain where I may have gone wrong?

Normally a soft castings means it didn't cure long enough and it needs longer but you said you left it for over 22 hours so that doesn't seem right. And if you drilled it then the heat of the drill should have made it harden as heat speeds up curing. And you said you followed the directions, just to be completely sure - did you measure by volume or weight? Clear Cast is a bit different and it has to be by volume and not weight (RC-3 can go by either). Was your working area warm? Sometimes a slightly cold/cooler area will slow down the curing process and it takes longer to cure. Now as to the pressure pot part, I don't use one but some people here do and they'd have to speak up on that part.
