Hello, I am unsure what material to use for my mold. I would like a 2 piece mold That can be clamped shut without interfering with the dimensions of the cast object. Any help is appreciated.

Few more questions and we should be able to steer you in a good direction.
Is it a complex 2 piece mold with undercuts? Is it big, flat, small, etc? What is the mold of and what are you going to pour into it?
thx, Mike

I am going to be casting full handles like a gun grip. Roughly 6"x2"x2" in size and I would like to pour water clear resin.

I would use a two piece mold of Plat 55. Plat 55 is a stiff silicone that picks up a tremendous amount of detail, works great with Water Clear, and has great dimensional stability.
