I am interested in filling some voids in wooden slabs as well as inlay work with a metallic epoxy. Would I be able to mix the metal powder into a resin and use that to fill gaps and achieve a good look? If so do you have a product recommendation for me?

Hi Collin, Yes, most will use our Amazing Clear Cast epoxy, as it's extended open time allows air bubbles in the resin rise and escape before if hardens and cures. If your going to use real metallic powder, it's important that you test it in the resin to see if if settles or stays suspended in the resin. Alumilite Metallic Powders are imitation metallic powders that stay suspended. We have had some users use our Alumilite Clear resin for inlays, but it cures rather quick and can react with moisture in wood causing air bubbles. Here's a video on that process: youtu.be/fSMfqvcOkMk Please give us a call if you have questions as you proceed.
