Hello!
I was just wondering if anyone here knows the densities of the flex40 casting components. I do not have a mass scale at my home, so I will have to measure the components by volume. They densities are obviously different, so I will not be able to cast at a 1:1 mixing ratio by volume. The parts will be small, 45 gram, bicycle handle grips, so it is important that i get the ratio correct.
Thank you in advance for your help!

Hello,
I don't have a specific gravity or density on the Flex at hand BicycleEnthusiast, let me look in to that for you. I am sorry it has taken so long to get your reply. I do not have those tech specs on my sheet, so waiting for my lab tech to find the answers for you when he returns from out of state.
I do have a gentleman down in the Southern part of the USA who does some beautiful bicycle grips.
Regards,
Carol

I have actually been able to find a facility that is letting me use their mass scale, so no worries!

Bicycle Enthusiast,
I am glad you have an answer. We would love to see the products that you make out of the FLEX, if you would like to send pictures.
Have a wonderful upcoming holiday weekend!

Carol
