I want to repair the cracks in the existing resin of my coffee table. Can I simply fill the cracks in with additional resin? Is there any prep work (other than cleaning)? Will the cracks still show? The table belonged to my great grandmother, so I could be disowned if I ruin it (i'm sorta joking lol).
I planned on using the 2 part clear cast. Thanks in advance!

Yes, you should be able to repair or simply pour a full new topcoat which should fill in and perfectly reseal the table to have a new finish. Before using the Amazing Clear Cast to do this, we'd love to see pictures of the table and cracked areas. This way we can double check to make sure there is nothing else we should do for prep work or application technique. If you wouldn't mind snapping a few pics with your phone and emailing them to world(at)alumilite(dot)com along with your contact info, we'll check the pics out and get back to you.
thx, Mike

Absolutely. I will send later tonight. Grandma will be thrilled (it cracked on her watch) lol. We've also decided any imperfections will only add character to our table! Thank you Mike.
