Good Morning,
I do not have a recipe to create an Ivory color. There are many Alumilite users who call our regular Alumilite or AlumiRes and Ivory/bone color. Have you used or seen it Fatnash? There are some pictures on the website of Alumilite in it's natural color.
Alumilite is a urethane, it is moisture sensitive. In it's liquid state it is typically compatible with dry colors, fillers, or dyes, nothing water based. I have been told that there are some art stores who carry Ivory dry colorants from other customers on their search for Ivory color putting it in white resin as opposed to the already tan.
Have a happy New Year!~
Regards,
Carol

I make a product I call "NOTIVRY" that I supply with my "SCRIMSTIPPLER" [Copyright Unlimited Design] as Whales teeth, bone scapula, and bone flats for my customers to practice on. I buy a quart of 7 minute SLOW SET at Hobby Lobby, and 2 Gallons of 2 minute set WHITE directly from Alumilite. The 7 Min is brownish in color. I use 2 parts of 7 min Slow(both chemicals), to 3 or 4 parts 2 min White(both chemicals)More if lighter color is desired. Hardening time will vary according to mixture. It was named "NOTIVRY" due to the current political environment. It is a bit softer than Ivory, so adjust your methods accordingly. Black stove soot ( not ashes ) works quite well for in progress viewing of scrimshaw. I mix a quart of the mixture...both A and B ... seems to keep quite well with no clouding, separating, or hardening. I use Alumilite ( toned BLACK ) for about 2 dozen parts of my "SCRIMSTIPPLER" and affiliated tools.

Bill,
Thank you! That is so very nice of you to share your unique formulation to help others with their special projects. It is so nice to have people post and share things they have done and their knowledge of the various products to make things go easier for the beginning mold making and casting enthusiast.
Have a great day Bill.
Regards,
Carol
