want to make a yellow and blue pen blank, with the white or the clear cast, will the dyes mix and become green, or will they stay separate

Good Afternoon,
Yes the dyes can mix and form a green color where they overlap or touch one another ... if stirred (of course) they surely will. There are multiple ways to do the swirl, veining, tye-dyed, or camo coloring applications. I have heard and seen pictures of some unique ways of achieving this beautiful mixture of dyes, powders, and other fillers to make some very original and custom creations with resin.
Best,
Carol

If you watch our video on Alumilite Dyes, you might get some ideas on the affects different mixing processes will have on the color. We mix some samples 3 different ways that show two different swirl patterns as well as one solid color. www.alumilite.com/store/p/1012-Alumilite-Dye.aspxMike
