Yes, you could add a few drops of the A side you are using into the bottle and try to thin in down a little but unfortunately that is the nature of the black dye. If you are using the 1 oz bottle, either cut the tip or simply remove the tip by holding the bottle in one hand and with a rubber glove, or I just use a paper towel, push the tip to the side and it will come right out of the bottle. Then you can simply dip a popsicle stick in the bottle to get extract the amount you need. If you add A side to it, only use a little bit and shake it extremely well. This will dilute the concentration a very small amount ... normally not enough to notice as the black dye is very concentrated.

mike, i didnt realize it would be as thick as peanut butter. i did cut off the top and pull out what i need. i am casting 1/25 scale stock car tires, and although it's thick, it sure beats painting tires. and it gives it a slight sheen like a new tire. thanks for the info

It is thick, Mike's tip about the top off and popsicle dip is the way to go!! Thank you for your post and Mike will be back in the office on Monday.
Best,
