I am an Apprentice Cabinet maker and for my final project, i am making a 10' countertop, out of Corian, HiMags, and other Solid Surface materials.
My top is designed to look like a 10' Graffitti mural.
I have no experience with Alumilite products.
My question: can i use an alumilite product to make custom colors, clear areas, and inlays into the solid surface material? And if so, do i have to cast it, then seam it to the Solid surface, or can i pour it directly into or between pieces and achieve a professional bond?

IdeAs,
I would suggest you call here and speak with Don. He is out table/bar top specialist, he can give you details, valuable information for this application that would help you to complete a perfect project. Custom colors, clear areas, and inlays can all be achieved with different dyes, fillers, and other different types of colorants. It bonds well it can be poured directly in between pieces for great bonding abilities.
Regards,
Carol
