I have been working on some mold casting and thought it would be good to add weight to the pieces for overall feel. How does the Tungsten effect alumilite clears workability? Would it cut, turn or machine differently? Or maybe lower the tensile strength?
Thanks in advance!

Will still cut, turn, and machine similar however it will add a gray opacity to your piece. It will more than likely settle to the bottom of your casting before the resin cures. So you will have a clear/translucent top half and a gray opaque bottom.

Is there a maximum ration of AL clear to the tungsten powder?

No ... depending on what you are looking for. You can add so much that it becomes a paste but obviously the material would not flow as well as lose a majority of the physical properties.
I'd suggest play with different load amounts in a small batch size and allow to cure in a cup. Then simply duplicate the ratio you like and try casting it into your mold to see what an actual part looks like and how it performs.
