Hello friends, I am new to what seems to be a wonderful new hobby. I searched for an answer to this question find one, so I did start a new thread. I am trying to find out whether or not I could embed epoxy clay and resin. I am trying to create a Millefiori effect I hope I'm getting my meaning across. I think it would look nice and clear resin. I am ambitious and looking to do some big pieces right off or if they don't work out I'm going to try try again. Shall I just go ahead and give it a try? Or does anyone have any experience with this epoxy /resin compatibility issue? Thank you so much in advance for any help that you can give me.

Happycamper,
Urethanes are sensitive to so little ... but one thing it will not tolerate is moisture. That is in the form of humidity or an actual introduction of a water based dye, filler, or "thing" that contains any kind of moisture that you may try to embed. I would suggest Happycamper to read all of the information on the website about using whatever clear you are thinking of using. If it is the Alumilite Clear or Water Clear they both need to be degassed or you will have some bubbles. Please keep in mind the Clears are not UV stable, there is a chance they could discolor over time.
Once you you read the tech specs and instructions on the website if there is anything I can help you with please do let me know. Have a wonderful day!
Regards,
Carol
